This year, 124 people from Nebraska registered for the marathon, up from 85 in 2013. Iowa's representation in the race also is up, from 158 to 174 runners this year. Some are first-timers at Boston, and for others, the race is an old friend. All want to celebrate Boston's courage and recovery.
The Census Bureau, the authoritative source of health insurance data for more than 30 years, is changing its annual survey so thoroughly that it will be difficult to measure the effects of the new health care law in the next report, due this fall, census officials said.
